CNC machining For optimal heat transfer

The contact surface between the heat sink and the electronic component is decisive for thermal transfer: the better the contact, the lower the thermal resistance. However, process-related tolerance deviations can cause an air cushion between the component and the heat sink. In this case, subsequent CNC machining of the heat sink improves the fit between the heat sink and the component for better thermal conductivity.
