Stamping and forming technology Ideal for housings, front panels and aluminum technical parts
The stamping and forming process is suitable for manufacturing lightweight special housings, front panels and technical parts in small quantities. Typical materials are sheet steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
How it works
A stamping and forming machine first stamps the base part from sheet metal, including the required recesses and openings. Then, in multiple steps, this blank is bent to form a housing, a front panel or an aluminum technical part. This is typically followed by surface finishing such as painting, anodizing, powder coating or chrome plating, as well as printing or laser engraving.
